adott egy régi gép: core2 duo 2,1 Ghz, 2 Gb Ram, SSD + 2 HDD, OP: Mint cinnamon 20.3 és windows 10 dual boot

Mostanában sokszor előfordul, hogy megszakad, vagy el sem indul linux alatt a vezetékes csatlakozás. Többszöri újraindítás segít és magától beáll. Ha win10-l bootolok, akkor minden esetben azonnal van hálózat. Egy Archer C6 routeren keresztül megy a net elérés, a másik gépemen soha semmi probléma, csak a Cinnamon alatt jön elő, mostanában elég sokszor. Mi lehet a probléma?

Tudom, nem ezt akarod olvasni, de:

Az alaplap azon kívül, hogy koros, nem is egy nagyon tartós fajta. Bele kellene nézni a házba, milyen a kondik állapota. Kicsit is púpos valamelyik, akkor már várható a közeli elhalálozása.

Azon túl pedig nagyon szűkös a memória. Lehet bővíteni, de ez az alaplap max 4 GB-t támogat, ami továbbra is szűkös.

Neki kell állni nagyon gyorsan összespórolni egy gépfelújításra. Költséghatékonyan két stratégiát lehet követni:

1. Ezen az architektúrán maradva, tartósabb, jobb fajta alaplap és a többi beszerzése:

Ennek előnye, hogy lehet apránként költeni, de fennáll a "veszélye", hogy nem fut végig a projekt.
Azaz, lehet indítani egy LGA775 csúcs alaplappal, pl.

Passzol bele minden a mostani gépből, RAM, videokártya, proci... Érdemes ránézni a képekre, olyanok azok a kondik, amik akár 20 éven túl is működőképesek.

Ebből pedig kettő kell. De érdemes nézegetni, időnként vannak jobb, olcsóbb ajánlatok. Fenti alaplap 16 GB-t támogat max, de ahhoz 4GB-s modulok kellenének, ilyenek viszont nem készültek. Tehát 2 GB-s modulokban kell gondolkodni, amiből 4 kell, és páronként egyforma. (ha nem is mind a 4 az). Min. 800-asok legyenek, de ha több, nem baj.

Harmadik lépés: SATA 6G bővítőkártya, pl: https://aqua.hu/alkatreszek/delock-2x-sata-bovito-kartya-pci-e-90431-t898455

Ezeknél nagyon kell figyelni. Van olcsóbb is, de az olyan, hogy csak kiegészítő, azaz nem lehet róla rendszert indítani. Tehát a leírásában szerepeljen a BIOS, vagy pl, hogy rendszerindításra alkalmas, mint a fenti esetében.

Negyedik lépés: Erős proci + hűtő + erősebb táp beszerzése. A fenti alaplapba akármilyen erős procit is lehet tenni, de azok fogyasztása is nagyobb, tuti kell erősebb táp és hűtő.

De ebbe az alaplapba moddolt BIOS frissítéssel lehet megpatkolt XEON procikat is tenni. Csak ezeket nehezebb beszerezni. Ezek elég gyorsak valamivel kisebb fogyasztással.

Ötödik lépés: Videokártya, ebben nagy a szabad választék,

Hatodik lépés: SSD.

Ha mindezt összeszámoljuk, elég szép summa így is, és lesz belőle egy gép, ami éppen megfelel a Mint 20.3-nak.

Mármint, ha nem SSD, hanem SATA III merevlemezről fut, még úgy is tud lassú lenni.

 

2. Másik lehetőség egy kevésbé elavult platformra váltás. Ezt viszont nem lehet apránként, mert nem lehet a meglévő alkatrészeket felhasználni (esetleges videokártyát leszámítva)

Csak amiről én tudok:

01.31-én 02.01-re virradó éjjel megszakadt egy VPN kapcsolat, ami csak reggel állt helyre.

02.01-én 3 Home Office kapcsolat eltérő helyeken szakadozott.

A tegnap este ez az oldal nem akart frissülni nekem rendesen.
